A Twin boom is taking over. Hollywood moms are popping out twins both in the United States and overseas. Hollywood is probably a microcosm of what is happening in the world. Overall the birth of multiples has gone up because of the use of fertility treatment and the fact that older moms are having babies.

In recent years:

• Sean “Puffy” Combs and his former girlfriend had twin baby girls
• Jennifer Lopez and her husband Anthony had their own set of twins- a boy and a girl.
• Julia Roberts and her hubby had a set of twins- a boy and girl
• Angelina Jolie and her boyfriend Brad Pitt just had a set of twins.
• Dennis Quaid and his wife also had their own set of twins
• Marcia Cross and her hubby also had a set of twin girls
• CNN newswoman Nancy Grace had twins
• Patrick Dempsey and his wife had a set of twins

Rebecca Romijn and her gorgeous husband Jerry O’Connell are expecting a set of twins this winter. Romijn and O’Connell were married last July after dating for a couple years. Another set of gorgeous Hollywood babies are on the way.

Ethan Hawke and his new wife, Ryan Shawhughes had a baby girl together. Clementine Jane Hawke was born Friday, July 18, 2008. Clementine is Hawke’s 3^rd child and the first child of Shawhughes. Hawke was previously married to Uma Thurman and they have a daughter and son together. Shawhughes was the nanny for Hawke’s firs t 2 children when he was married to Uma Thurman.

Unbelievably beautiful Hollywood couple Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck is expecting a second child. Garner and Affleck were married in June 2005 and their first child, Violet Anne Affleck, was born December 2005.

According to People, Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman and their new daughter are doing well. Nicole gave birth today to a baby girl , Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, in Nashville, Tennessee. Nicole has two adopted children, Isabella Jane and Connor Antony, from her marriage to actor Tom Cruise. Kidman and Cruise were divorced in August 8, 2001. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were wed in June 25, 2006 in Sydney Australia.

Marissa Winokur’s surrogate has already made such a good impression on her and her husband, Judah Miller that they have decided to make the surrogate mother also the godmother. A surrogate was chosen because Marissa had a hysterectomy due to her battle with cervical cancer. The couple is in preparation for the arrival of their son, who has a July 22^nd due date. The name Zev has already been chosen and decorating the nursery is in full swing.

Alison Sweeney is pregnant with her second child. Sweeney has been reeking havoc as the notorious Sami Brady on Days of Our Lives for years. Most recently Sweeney has been hosting the NBC weight loss reality show The Biggest Loser. It was on during the taping of the 6^th season of The Biggest Loser that Sweeney revealed that she and her husband, David Sanov, are expected their 2^nd child together. The sex and due of this baby has not yet been revealed. Sweeney and her husband already have a 3 year-old son together.

Newlyweds Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren had a baby June 7, 2008 in Los Angeles at Cedar Sinai medical center. Their new baby girl was named Honor Marie.

Tori Spelling, who played Donna Martin in 90210, has given birth to a baby girl. She and her husband, Dean McDermott already have a 1 year-old son named Liam. The new baby girl was born via C-section and weighed 6lbs 8oz.

Angelina Jolie and her boyfriend, Brad Pitt, are expecting twins in August. This will add 6 to the Jolie-Pitt pit clan of kids. Jolie may be having her twins in France. She did say that she wanted her children to feel connections to other countries. She tries to allow her internationally adopted children know their native country. She purposely had her birth daughter, Shiloh in a foreign country.
